This past spring, RV There Yet?, the popular travel adventure series on Discovery, rolled into the Myrtle Beach area—and what a ride it was! Hosts Kevin and Patrice McCabe took viewers on a journey through some of the Grand Strand’s most beloved campgrounds, showcasing the beauty, fun, and freedom of RV life along South Carolina’s stunning coast.
In collaboration with Visit Myrtle Beach, the McCabes explored the full spectrum of camping experiences—from oceanfront RV sites to quiet lakeside escapes. Whether in a tent, cabin, or luxury RV, the Myrtle Beach area proved to be a dream destination for campers of all kinds.

Ocean Lakes wowed with its massive oceanfront layout, family-friendly amenities, and lively atmosphere. The McCabes enjoyed a bike ride on the beach, picked up some fresh seafood for grilling and got a history lesson at the famous Atalaya Castle near Brookgreen Gardens.
Just a short drive inland in Longs, SC, WillowTree offered a peaceful contrast with its spacious sites, pristine lake views, and tranquil setting—perfect for campers looking to relax and recharge. The McCabes took a boat ride along the Intracoastal Waterway, learned how to shag, and even got a tour of the campground in a classic car by the owner of WillowTree himself!
