Hello fall! We meet again. Summer isn’t the only time you should visit Myrtle Beach. Warm weather, less traffic, lower rental rates, and fewer crowds are just some of the benefits to vacationing in this beautiful area during the fall season. Not to mention award-winning shows and entertainment, championship golf, delicious seafood, and endless shopping. And as an added bonus, the season also brings exciting festivals and special events the whole family will enjoy. And you’re in luck because we’ve compiled some of our favorite upcoming events so you can start planning your vacation or weekend getaway to one of our seven area camping resorts.
September 26 – October 2
Motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country flock to our area to show off their bikes, see old friends, and enjoy a fun vacation at the beach.
October 1-2
Nothing says fall like Harvest Home Weekend at the popular Brookgreen Gardens. Bring the whole family and pick a favorite pumpkin, create a scarecrow, and enjoy finding your way out of their corn maze.
October 8-9
Head north for some delicious local seafood, live music, vendors, arts and crafts. Local businesses host the best seafood gathering each year.
October 13-16
Enjoy all of what Greek culture has to offer through their amazing food. There’s also live music and vendors.
October 14-16
The sixth annual Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival will be held on historic Carver Street in downtown Myrtle Beach. Listen to the sweet songs of renown artists from all over.
October 15
Visit the festival for delicious food and fun. Taste our Lowcountry favorite, chicken bog, and see who comes out on top…it’s a competition after all! Enjoy vendors, live music and much more.
October 21-23
Now this is a show we definitely know about! Attendees will experience the latest makes and models of recreational vehicles from the nation’s top manufacturers. Special factory rebates, financing, and on-the-spot loan approvals makes this show a can’t miss for the serious RV enthusiasts, like us!
October 28-30
Start the morning off with a Jeep Crawl from 7-9 a.m. in downtown Myrtle Beach. Take on the off-road obstacle course, view the best jeeps, and participate in raffles. End the night with their sponsored parties and vendors. Perfect event for Jeep lovers!
October 31 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Trick-or-treat through all of the stores and restaurants at Broadway at the Beach. Enjoy all the fun costumes and decorations.
